Standardizing Medication Labels: Confusing Patients Less is the summary of a workshop organized by the Institute of Medicine Health Literacy Roundtable to examine what is known about how medication container labeling affects patient safety and to discuss approaches to addressing identified problems. The workshop summary includes the ACP Foundation White Paper on medication labeling. May is National Arthritis Awareness and Osteoporosis Awareness and Prevention Month. The ACP Foundation is launching two new HEALTH TiPS on Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Osteoporosis. The Rheumatoid Arthritis HEALTH TiPS were developed by the ACP Foundation and the Arthritis Foundation, whose mission is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.
